PETERSBURG, FL \u2014 A second man has been arrested for a fatal Memorial Day shooting in downtown St. Petersburg. <\/p>\n<p>Matthew Williams, 36, was charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder in the second degree, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and violation of probation, St. Petersburg police said. <\/p>\n<p>Jacob Carreras, 25, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the May 25 fatal shooting of 29-year-old Peter-Austin Afentakis. <\/p>\n<p>Carrera was charged with second-degree murder. <\/p>\n<p>Carreras and Williams got into an argument with Afentakis while on the street in the 100 block of 1st Avenue N. just before 3 a.m., investigators said. <\/p>\n<p>Both suspects shot at Afentakis, who later died from his injuries, police said. <\/p>\n<p>A second victim suffered a minor injury in the shooting. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
