(WITN) &#8211; A man is facing charges after warrants say he assaulted two Jacksonville police officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jovon Council was arrested by Jacksonville police overnight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Warrants say that as police were investigating a domestic disturbance, Council threatened to beat up two officers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 36-year-old man also reportedly pulled away from police and refused to stop walking when asked by the officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Council is accused of assaulting the two officers. Warrants say he headbutted one officer and kicked another in the face, groin and chest. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Council was charged with two counts of assaulting a government official, two counts of communicating threats and two counts of resisting a public officer. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was taken to the Onslow County Jail. Records show he was combative during processing and could not be fingerprinted. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Council is being held without bond.
