{"id":297687,"date":"2026-06-05T21:13:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T21:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/297687\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T21:13:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T21:13:19","slug":"free-summer-meal-program-for-youth-launches-june-8-at-six-cape-coral-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/297687\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Summer Meal Program for Youth\u00a0 Launches June 8 at Six Cape Coral Parks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-ogsc=\"\">Cape Coral Parks &amp; Recreation, in collaboration with the School District of Lee County and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is proud to announce the return of the\u00a0Summer BreakSpot\u00a0free meal program\u2014now expanded from\u00a0four to six park locations\u00a0across the city.<\/p>\n<p data-ogsc=\"\">From\u00a0June 8 through July 29, children and teens\u00a0ages 18 and under\u00a0can enjoy\u00a0no-cost weekday lunches\u00a0at the following Cape Coral parks (Please note:\u00a0No meals will be served on June 19 and July 3):<\/p>\n<p data-ogsc=\"\">Seven-day meal kits are available at one location, providing a week\u2019s worth of breakfast and lunch to support families who cannot attend daily sites from June 8 through July 29, excluding June 19 and July 3:<\/p>\n<p data-ogsc=\"\">To kick off the program, the Cape Coral Fun-Mobile will be on-site at Crystal Lake Park on Monday, June 8, from 8 to 11 a.m., offering free games and activities for families. The Fun-Mobile will rotate to different park locations throughout the summer to provide additional recreation and fun for participating youth.
