Law enforcement agencies are on the hunt for the driver whose vehicle hit the deputy\u2019s cruiser.<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 11th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale police said.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the car, whose identity and description have not been released, ran away from the area. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue attended to the deputy, who was taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. The deputy\u2019s condition is unclear.<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s office and Fort Lauderdale police are searching for the driver.
