A 68-year-old woman was found “unresponsive” and “without a pulse” at the scene. She was pulled from the water face down before deputies performed CPR on the victim.<\/p>\n
\u201cDeputy Gourley quickly located the victim in the water, floating face down and pulled her to shore,\u201d said the VSO. \u201cThe woman was unresponsive and without a pulse. Deputy Gourley and Deputy Manhart immediately began CPR and were able to revive the 68-year-old woman.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police bodycam footage shows Deputy Gourley pulling the woman from the water, with the help of a beachgoer. Deputies then performed performing CPR on the victim.<\/p>\n
One deputy asks bystanders, \u201cDoes anybody know her?\u201d to which someone responds, \u201cNo, nobody, no.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moments later, one of the deputies says, \u201cShe’s breathing.\u201d One of the officers then tells the woman, \u201cKeep breathing \u2026 big deep breaths if you can hear me, girl. Squeeze my hand if you can feel it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The woman then exhales loudly, regaining consciousness as sirens sound in the background of the clip.<\/p>\n
Beach Safety arrived on scene and continued life-saving measures on the woman; she was subsequently transported to the hospital in stable condition, per the VSO.<\/p>\n
The woman has not been identified at this time.<\/p>\n
