FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office <\/a>has arrested a man in connection with more than 10 home burglaries that plagued the Spanish Lakes community over several days.<\/p>\n

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were conducting patrols Monday in the Spanish Lakes Fairways community<\/a> after receiving numerous reports of residential burglaries. At about 1:43 p.m., deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle stopped in the roadway.<\/p>\n

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Vincent Cutrone, 46, of Fort Pierce. Investigators said they observed a large television in the vehicle’s back seat.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, detectives determined that a burglary had occurred at a nearby residence where the suspicious vehicle had last been seen. The investigation led to Cutrone being taken to the Criminal Investigation Division, where detectives developed probable cause to charge him with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.<\/p>\n

Detectives were also able to link Cutrone to multiple burglaries in the area.<\/p>\n
