Photo: Hayes Davidson<\/p>\n<p>Roberto Carlos, widely regarded as one of the greatest left-backs in football history, has purchased two units at Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale, the first Viceroy-branded luxury condominium in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The 45-storey tower, developed by Naftali Group and represented by Douglas Elliman, features 251 residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, according to a press release from Naftali Group. <\/p>\n<p>The building includes more than 30,000 square feet of amenities, a 15,000-square-foot restaurant and private members\u2019 club by The h.wood Group \u2013 the Los Angeles hospitality company behind celebrity-favourite venues Delilah and The Nice Guy.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian icon, known for his legendary career with Real Madrid and the Brazilian National Team, said Fort Lauderdale had been a long-standing destination for him.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo-hayes-davidson_converted-5-1024x682.png\" alt=\"Photo: Hayes Davidson\" class=\"wp-image-289922\"  \/>Photo: Hayes Davidson<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFort Lauderdale is a place I\u2019ve been coming to for years, and I\u2019ve always felt a strong connection to this city,\u201d Roberto Carlos said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I saw Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale, I was drawn to the project right away. The penthouses include what the developer describes as Flagler Village\u2019s only private rooftop spas.<\/p>\n<p>Danielle Naftali, Executive Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Design at Naftali Group, said the purchase reflected a shift in buyer priorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re seeing a clear shift toward buyers who are prioritising experiences, lifestyle and global connectivity just as much as the quality of the residences,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cViceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale was designed with that in mind, bringing together thoughtful design, service and a highly curated lifestyle.
