TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Rain chances stay spotty in the short term, but we are looking ahead to a few changes later in the week. <\/p>\n
Tonight Through Tuesday Night <\/p>\n
An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible for Monday evening, but we are turning mostly dry and mild for the overnight. Lows fall into the low-70s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. <\/p>\n
Clouds are looking a little more pesky on Tuesday, and those should help keep temperatures slightly lower. We top out in the upper-80s to low-90s under a partly sunny sky. Again, a few showers and thunderstorms are possible during the peak heating of the day, but rain chances are not widespread. <\/p>\n
We are mostly quiet and muggy for Tuesday night. Overnight lows dip into the low-70s under a partly cloudy sky. <\/p>\n
Middle Of The Week <\/p>\n
The summer sizzle will stick around for the middle of the week. <\/p>\n
Highs on Wednesday climb into the low-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible for the afternoon and evening, but it will not rain for everyone. Lows fall into the low-70s. <\/p>\n
Moisture should begin to increase by Thursday, so we are expecting a slightly higher rain chance during the afternoon and evening. Still, many areas will miss out on the rain completely. Highs hover in the low-90s under a partly cloudy sky, with lows in the low-70s. <\/p>\n
Extended Forecast <\/p>\n
As we close out the week, the weather pattern is looking pretty typical for mid-June. <\/p>\n
We are warm and muggy for Friday and the weekend. Highs soar into the low-and-mid-90s under a partly sunny sky. We are expecting heat index values to climb into the upper-90s and low-100s in some spots. <\/p>\n
In terms of rain chances, moisture will stay pretty elevated, so we should see more of those pop-up, scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. It will not rain all day, but pack the umbrella for those weekend plans, just in case. <\/p>\n
Overnight low temperatures remain mild and muggy. We hover in the low-to-mid-70s. <\/p>\n
