Ivry., a family-owned espresso and flatbread cafe, quietly opened in May at 2307 S Dale Mabry, and our team is hooked after one visit.<\/p>\n<p>While the cafe is intentionally laid-back, it hasn\u2019t stopped Ivry. from popping up all over social media in the weeks since opening, thanks to its beautiful drinks, drool-worthy pastries, and flatbreads baked to order. We had our first visit last week and came away highly impressed.<\/p>\n<p>The Middle Eastern-inspired cafe is true to the culture, creating a space that\u2019s comfortable and welcoming at all hours. It\u2019s the kind of place where it\u2019s easy to linger, and thanks to the variety in the menu, you can stick around for multiple meals, if you feel so inclined.<\/p>\n<p>The coffee and matcha drinks have garnered early fame, and we saw why when we tried the Tiramisu Latte, Vanilla Latte, and Strawberry Matcha Latte. The Pistachio Latte is a house specialty, and they also have an excellent menu of refreshers and tea. The flatbreads are served in the Middle Eastern fashion, and while there are some similarities to pizza (baked dough with toppings), we\u2019d encourage you to think of it as something different entirely. Their custom cheese blend is the house pick, while the za\u2019atar flatbread will immediately catch the attention of anyone who has had a za\u2019atar flatbread before. Each flatbread is baked to-order and served straight from the oven to your table.<\/p>\n<p>Ivry. is run by Areej and Jareer, who created the cafe as a space for their family, \u201csomewhere their three kids could grow up around.\u201d The South Tampa space is awash in natural light thanks to its big windows, creating the welcoming feeling they wanted.
