During this construction period, we haven’t gotten to see much other than walls in front of the attraction. Well, now we’ve got a look at what’s going on behind the scenes!

Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X (formerly known as Twitter), we have aerial photos that give us a great view of the work being done on the ride. We can finally get a peek at what’s going on past the walls.

Jurassic Park River Adventure construction

Now that we’re about halfway through the construction timeline, we’re curious as to how much work has been done. For starters, we got a close look at the roofing progress at the entrance of the ride. You can see this from behind the walls, but this close-up shot gives us a better look.

@bioreconstruct via X

Going way past the construction walls, take a look at this aerial photo of scaffolding at the paddock in the Jurassic Park River Adventure refurbishment.

@bioreconstruct via X

There’s some more footage of the new wall construction happening over at the paddock area of the ride. You can see how high the walls are, and the scaffolding goes up all the way.

@bioreconstruct via X

From the looks of it, this obviously is a pretty large part of the construction process.

@bioreconstruct via X

It’s really cool to get a new angle and look at the construction that’s going on. We can’t be the only ones who are realizing how big an attraction this truly is. Look at all the area!

@bioreconstruct via X

In one of the posts, @bioreconstruct noted that you can see the Ultrasaurus mechanical neck recently returned.

@bioreconstruct via X

You can also see that a boat has recently returned. The boats for the ride had been wrapped in plastic and had been in storage near Epic Universe.

@bioreconstruct via X

We know November is quite a ways away, but clearly there’s been a TON of work done on the attraction since the beginning of the year. We’ll have to enjoy the rest of Universal while we wait for this fan favorite ride to return.
