TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Things are taking shape at Market District Park. <\/p>\n
Market District Tallahassee shared progress<\/a> on the park project on social media, showing playground equipment and landscaping going in. <\/p>\n According to Blueprint, a joint city-county agency, the park will feature walking and biking paths, a children\u2019s play area, pickleball courts, a shaded gathering space and more. <\/p>\n The park is expected to be completed next summer, according to the Market District\u2019s post. <\/p>\n Work on Maclay Boulevard is still underway, but is set to be completed sooner than originally expected.<\/a> The City of Tallahassee shared that Maclay Blvd is expected to open in late summer 2026. <\/p>\n The Market District project is divided into two phases, according to Blueprint.
