PETERSBURG | LGBTQ+ advocates will gather June 12 at 2 p.m. at <a href=\"https:\/\/watermarkoutnews.com\/2025\/09\/02\/fdot-removes-st-petersburgs-progressive-pride-street-mural-after-ban\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">St. Petersburg\u2019s former Progressive Pride street mural<\/a> to mark 10 years since <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watermarkoutnews.com\/tag\/pulse\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pulse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.watermarkoutnews.com\/tag\/st-pete-pride\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">St Pete Pride<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watermarkoutnews.com\/tag\/justice-over-everything\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Justice Over Everything<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watermarkoutnews.com\/tag\/contigo-fund\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Contigo Fund <\/a>and the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida in Pinellas County are partnering for the remembrance event. They invite the larger Tampa Bay region to join them \u201cas we gather in reflection, remembrance and solidarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTen years ago, our community experienced an unimaginable tragedy,\u201d the organizations shared. \u201cTogether, we will honor those taken, celebrate the resilience of our LGBTQ+ community, and reaffirm our commitment to creating a world where everyone can live openly, safely, and authentically.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former street mural is located in St. Petersburg\u2019s Grand Central District. Advocates will gather along Central Ave. and 25th St. Read more below:<\/p>\n<p>Remembrance events <a href=\"https:\/\/watermarkoutnews.com\/2026\/06\/05\/orlando-to-mark-10-years-since-pulse-tragedy-with-remembrance-events\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">are currently underway<\/a> in Orlando.
