Lee County Parks & Recreation reminds swimmers that community pools will be closed temporarily Wednesday, June 10, and the morning of Thursday, June 11, for annual staff training. The pools will reopen at noon Thursday, June 11.<\/p>\n
The impacted locations are:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Lehigh Acres Community Pool, 1400 W. Fifth St., Lehigh Acres<\/p>\n
\u2022 North Fort Myers Community Pool, 5170 Orange Grove Blvd., North Fort Myers<\/p>\n
\u2022 Pine Island Community Pool, 5675 Sesame Drive, Pine Island<\/p>\n
\u2022 San Carlos Community Pool, 8208 Sanibel Blvd., Fort Myers<\/p>\n
Signs have been posted at the sites to inform pool patrons of the annual closing.<\/p>\n
Lee County lifeguards are tested annually for their performance skills and abilities. This ensures guards meet Lee County\u2019s safety standards. The pools will begin their extended weekend and evening hours for summer on June 13 through Aug. 8. Visit www.leeparks.org for more information.<\/p>\n
