The start of a new decade for the Opera means a new location for the annual series, which will now be presented at Orlando Museum of Art&#8217;s Truist Auditorium. Across three afternoons, audiences will get an incredible preview of the voices that will headline the MainStage productions in Steinmetz Hall, paired with wine, bites, and that up-close experience of the power of the human voice.<\/p>\n<p>            \ud83c\udfad NEW! The Summer Concert Series is the first event of our season, and in addition to welcoming back our opera family, it&#8217;s our chance to showcase world-class voices singing the music they love. It&#8217;s a glass of wine, a great song, and the &#8216;Ooooh!&#8217; of delight as the audience experiences aria after aria.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This season the series takes its cheeky title from its lineup: three powerhouse sopranos in the spotlight, with general director and Grammy Award-winning baritone <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Gabriel-Preisser\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gabriel Preisser<\/a> popping up throughout the series to join the fun.<\/p>\n<p>CAN&#8217;T HELP FALLING IN LOVE<\/p>\n<p>Nola Richardson, soprano \/ Robin Andrew Stamper, piano<\/p>\n<p>Sunday \/ August 16, 2026 at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>A delightful, exhilarating romp through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Bel-Canto\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bel Canto<\/a>, Baroque gems, and the American songbook. This afternoon offers a first taste of the soprano who stars this April as Adina in Elixir of Love, the Opera&#8217;s irresistible season finale set in the golden age of Italian cinema. Australian-American soprano Nola Richardson brings a voice The Washington Post praises for its \u201ccrystalline diction\u201d and \u201cnatural-sounding ease\u201d\u2014a celebrated interpreter of Handel and Mozart who has been called &#8220;especially impressive&#8221; by The New York Times and made her solo debut at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Carnegie-Hall\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carnegie Hall<\/a>. Expect sparkle, mischief, and music to beat the heat. Ooooh\u2026can&#8217;t help falling for Nola.<\/p>\n<p>ONE FINE DAY<\/p>\n<p>Yeawon Jun, soprano \/ Robin Andrew Stamper, piano<\/p>\n<p>Sunday \/ August 23, 2026 at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>A dazzling afternoon spanning Bernstein, Puccini, and Verdi\u2014from the fireworks of \u201cGlitter and Be Gay\u201d to the aching hope of \u201cUn bel d\u00ec\u2026,\u201d this afternoon showcases a soprano making her Opera Orlando debut this October in the title role of Madame Butterfly. A native of Seoul, South Korea, and currently based in New York City, soprano Yeawon Jun brings a versatile voice and a repertoire of heroines\u2014from Mim\u00ec and Musetta to Li\u00f9, Nedda, and Mica\u00ebla. She earned her doctorate at Rutgers University and trained with the legendary Diana Soviero at the Mannes School of Music. Expect glamour, vibrance, and a voice everyone will be hearing much more from. Ooooh\u2026now that&#8217;s some fine singing!<\/p>\n<p>THEN SINGS MY SOUL<\/p>\n<p>Johanna Will, soprano \/ Robin Andrew Stamper, piano<\/p>\n<p>Sunday \/ August 30, 2026 at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>An afternoon of yearning, wishing, and transcendence\u2014from Dvo\u0159\u00e1k&#8217;s shimmering \u201cSong to the Moon\u201d to Puccini&#8217;s \u201cVissi d&#8217;arte\u2026,\u201d this final Sunday introduces the soprano making her Opera Orlando debut this January as Senta in Flying Dutchman. German soprano Johanna Will has sung from San Francisco to China to the Viennese Opera Ball in New York City, working with artists who include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Angela-Gheorghiu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Angela Gheorghiu<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Richard-Bonynge\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Richard Bonynge<\/a> as the youngest-ever recipient of the Rolex Scholarship at Italy&#8217;s Solti Accademia di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Bel-Canto\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bel Canto<\/a>. Having recently made her role debut as Senta in Austria, she brings that same soaring artistry home to Orlando. Expect beauty, longing, and a voice to wrap yourself in. Ooooh\u2026Johanna&#8217;s voice feeds the soul.<\/p>\n<p>Each concert this season is accompanied by Opera Orlando favorite Robin Andrew Stamper. Currently the artistic director, managing director, and chorus master for Opera Tampa, Mr. Stamper continues a versatile career as a coach-accompanist, chorus master, and opera conductor. He previously served as director of music for the Kentucky Opera, artistic director for the Nevada Opera, music director for Orlando Opera, and artistic director for Florida Opera Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Summer Concert Series includes a pre-show beverage service and a post-show reception with wine, appetizers, desserts, and an opportunity to mix and mingle with the artists.
