Visit Fort Myers, the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB), is celebrating a decade of one of its most beloved traditions with the recent launch of the \u201cYou Deserve a Shell-cation Giveaway.\u201d<\/p>\n
In partnership with the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, the sweepstakes honors the 10-year anniversary of National Seashell Day and invites travelers to experience the destination\u2019s iconic shelling firsthand.<\/p>\n
Celebrated on June 21, the national day was created to inspire appreciation for coastal ecosystems, while spotlighting one of Southwest Florida\u2019s most iconic experiences.<\/p>\n
\u201cNational Seashell Day captures the essence of what makes our islands, beaches and neighborhoods so special,\u201d VCB Executive Director Tamara Pigott said. \u201cFor 10 years, we have invited visitors to slow down, explore our shores and experience the simple joy of discovering something beautiful in the sand. With this \u2018Shell-cation\u2019 giveaway, we are giving travelers the chance to experience that magic for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
From now through June 21, the promotion gives participants the chance to win a three-night getaway for up to four guests at the beachfront Sundial on Sanibel. Valued at over $2,800, it will include:<\/p>\n
