Cleveland is the fourth warship to be named after Ohio\u2019s second largest city and is the 16th and final Freedom-variant littoral combat ship (LCS) to be built and commissioned in the U.S. Navy. Since leaving Cleveland, the ship has transited through the Welland Canal and St. Lawrence Seaway, sailing around Quebec City and Halifax.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">The USS Cleveland is commanded by Cmdr.
