Recently, we had a VERY special \u2014 and pricey \u2014 day at Universal\u2019s Epic Universe.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"Battle at the Ministry<\/p>\n

Fry Bucket purchased a spot on the park\u2019s Non-Private VIP Tour, which is a roughly 4-hour \u201cstructured, guided walking tour of Universal Epic Universe<\/a>\u201d including VIP Priority access to some of the park\u2019s most popular rides and attractions for no more than 12 guests per tour. The tour was loaded with rides, behind-the-scenes experiences, and some special perks\u2026which it should considering it cost about $700 total!<\/p>\n

Rides With No Lines!<\/p>\n

Over the course of the tour, which lasted from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM (with a lunch break), our Team Member guide took us through each of Epic Universe\u2019s portals to experience as many attractions as possible, entering each through its exit, and waiting minutes, if at all.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the 4.5 hours, our group was able to ride the following attractions:<\/p>\n

In addition to riding the rides, our guide also provided a litany of interesting facts about the park. These included everything from information on the inner workings of the attractions and their ride systems, to easter eggs present in the park. For example, there are a great deal of screen-used props present in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, including the original puppets of the three brothers from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.<\/p>\n

Following the completion of the tour, guests\u2019 VIP Lanyard also functions as a Universal Express Pass<\/a> for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Express Pass, guests who take the tour also receive 10% off merchandise for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n

As stated above, the experience is not a cheap one, as a single spot costs $489.99, NOT including the $174.00 price of a one-day admission to Epic Universe, which is required to take the tour. So in total, the experience cost nearly $700. That overall price includes the roughly 4-hour tour, and Universal Express access (using your VIP Lanyard once per ride) for the rest of the day. Of note, the tour does include breaks for food, but meals are not included. When planning for day-of costs, also keep in mind that tour guides can accept gratuities via cash or mobile cash applications on the day of the tour. Guests can also leave a gratuity via credit card by calling the VIP Experience Team or meeting with a VIP Experience Team Member in person at the conclusion of their tour in the VIP Lobby at the front of Universal Epic Universe.<\/p>\n
