Orlando Fringe is turning up the creative heat this winter. The Winter Mini-Fest returns to celebrate its 10th anniversary early next year.<\/p>\n

The festival, which now sports its original name after a two-year stint as FestN4, runs from Jan. 7 to 11 inside Orlando\u2019s Lowndes Shakespeare Center. With more than 20 shows set to run over four consecutive days, the festival features a mix of popular works from past festivals, new pieces from veteran Fringe artists, and both national and international performers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s lineup also includes mini versions of Fringe Favorites, such as Kids Fringe for families, a mini Visual Fringe Arts Market where visitors can watch artists at work, a Teaser Show to kick off the festivities, and the Winter Mini-Fest Awards to wrap things up in celebratory fashion.<\/p>\n

The return of Winter Mini-Fest comes not long after Orlando Fringe canceled Orlando Out Fest in September due to financial constraints and a focus on long-term sustainability. The upcoming Winter Mini Festival marks a continued effort to engage the community and maintain the organization\u2019s creative programming.<\/p>\n

Tickets for all Winter Mini-Fest shows are $15 each, plus a one-time $3 festival button for entry.<\/p>\n

The shows have yet to be announced, but can be found on Orlando Fringe\u2019s website<\/a> pre-festival.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re a long-time Fringer or new to the scene, Winter Mini-Fest offers a fun-sized showcase of the Orlando arts community.<\/p>\n
