FUTURE TRACK, INCLUDING YOUR WEEKEND FORECAST COMING UP. THE FIFA WORLD CUP IS SET TO KICK OFF IN TWO DAYS, AND SOCCER FANS MAY BE ON THE HUNT FOR A LAST MINUTE TICKET TO ONE OF THE MATCHES SCHEDULED AT HARD ROCK STADIUM, BUT IT’S IMPORTANT TO BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS TRYING TO CASH IN ON ALL THE EXCITEMENT. JADE JARVIS HAS SOME ADVICE ON HOW TO LOOK OUT FOR DEALS THAT SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. ATTENDING THE WORLD CUP IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY FOR MANY, BUT THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS FOR YOUR DREAM TO TURN INTO A FINANCIAL NIGHTMARE. IF YOU’RE TRYING TO SCORE LAST MINUTE TICKETS TO A FIFA WORLD CUP MATCH, THE BEST ADVICE IS TO BE CAREFUL. CONSUMERS HAVE TO BE ON ALERT BECAUSE, AGAIN, THIS IS SUCH A KNOWN EVENT. IT IS IN SUCH HIGH DEMAND THAT REALLY SCAMMERS TAKE ADVANTAGE. THE BEST BET FOR FANS IS TO HEAD TO THE OFFICIAL FIFA WEBSITE TO BUY TICKETS STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE OR ITS OFFICIAL MARKETPLACE, WHERE FANS CAN RESELL OR EXCHANGE TICKETS, BUT BE DISCERNING. THE FBI RECENTLY ISSUED A WARNING FOR SPOOFED FIFA WEBSITES THAT COULD COLLECT PEOPLE’S PERSONAL INFORMATION. THOSE WEBSITES COULD LOOK LEGIT, BUT HAVE SOME SLIGHT DIFFERENCES, LIKE MISSPELLINGS IN THE WEBSITE ADDRESS. YOU’RE PROBABLY GOING TO BE RECEIVING TEXT MESSAGES FROM NUMBERS YOU MAY HAVE NEVER SEEN, OR PHONE CALLS. TRYING TO HAVE THESE WEIRD OFFERS OR EMAILS. SO JUST BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK ON. CYNTHIA LAVIN IS THE SPOKESPERSON FOR THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. SHE SAYS TO AVOID PURCHASING TICKETS FROM SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS LIKE FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE OR THREADS, YOU’RE LOOKING TO SELL AT A VERY CHEAP PRICE, AND THEY JUST WANT YOU TO USE ONE OF THE PEER TO PEER PAY APPS LIKE ZELLE OR CASH APP, OR ANY OTHER APP THAT YOU USE TO TRANSFER MONEY. BUT IT’S IMPORTANT TO NEVER SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW, THAT YOU HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON. AND IF YOU DO CHOOSE TO PURCHASE FROM A THIRD PARTY RESALE SITE, USE A CREDIT CARD IN CASE THERE ARE ANY ISSUES OR IN CASE YOU HAVE TO CANCEL, THEN YOU HAVE MORE PROTECTIONS WITH THAT. DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU THINK YOU’VE BEEN THE VICTIM OF A SCAM, MAKE SURE TO REACH OUT TO YOUR BANK. AND THE BB ALSO HAS A SCAM. SURVIVOR’S GUIDE ON ITS WEBSITE AS WELL. IN WEST PALM BEACH, JADE JARVIS WPBF 25 NEWS. JADE. THANK YOU. AND AGAIN, THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS THURSDAY WITH MEXICO AND SOUTH AFRICA IN GAME ONE, AND THAT’S
