The-Dream<\/a> has teamed up with Usher<\/a> for \u201cTampa,\u201d the second offering from his new album Love\/Hate II.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the Pharrell Williams<\/a> production, The-Dream and Usher trade lines about giving a woman the lavish treatment she deserves, while reminding her of where her estranged lover is falling short.<\/p>\n

\u201cGivenchy\u2019s in the air \/ Man, this sh*t ain\u2019t fair \/ Got Balenciaga, boy, I got her falling out the air,\u201d Usher sings, before joining in for the hook: \u201cThis is where your man should be \/ Instead of worrying \u2019bout me.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTampa\u201d is The-Dream and Usher\u2019s first collaboration since \u201cCold Blooded\u201d from Usher\u2019s ninth album,\u00a0Coming Home<\/a> (2024). The-Dream co-wrote three other songs on that album, including \u201cBop,\u201d \u201cMargiela\u201d and \u201cI Love U.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before then, the two collaborated on The-Dream\u2019s \u201cForget About Her\u201d in 2016. He also lent his pen to Usher\u2019s 2008 album, Here I Stand<\/a>, including on \u201cMoving Mountains\u201d and \u201cTrading Places.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTampa\u201d is the follow-up to \u201cBring That Body<\/a>,\u201d which dropped at the start of May. Both songs will appear on\u00a0Love\/Hate II, arriving July 10 via RadioKilla Records\/Republic Records.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Love\/Hate II is the sequel to The-Dream\u2019s debut album, Love\/Hate (2007), which included classics such as \u201cShawty Is Da Sh*t,\u201d \u201cI Luv Your Girl\u201d and \u201cFast Car.\u201d<\/p>\n
