(CBS12)  \u2014 Two twin girls who were vacationing in Florida are dead after an apparent drowning left them unconscious in a pool on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Information obtained by WESH indicates the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osceolasheriff.org\/phone-directory-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Osceola County Sheriff&#8217;s Office <\/a>said the family was vacationing from the Atlanta area and staying at a short-term rental home in Kissimmee when the two 5-year-old girls were found in the pool.<\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/16-year-old-critically-injured-in-fort-pierce-shooting-three-juveniles-arrested-fort-pierce-shooting-avenue-n-north-24th-street-st-lucie-county-sheriffs-office-fort-pierce-police-department-juvenile-suspects-teen-shooting-16-year-old-victim\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Teen boy critically injured in Fort Pierce shooting; three juveniles arrested<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement said the twin girls were home with a 15-year-old who was in charge of watching them while their parents went to the grocery store.<\/p>\n<p>The teenager immediately called 911 when she found the girls in the pool.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor who witnessed the tragic incident said he heard a woman screaming, \u201cOh no, they\u2019re not breathing, they\u2019re not breathing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhoever it was, it was probably the mother,\u201d the neighbor said. \u201cShe was really upset, and I feel sorry for her. My heart breaks for something like that. I wouldn\u2019t know what would happen if it was one of mine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The girls were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"KISSIMMEE, Fla.
