Saturday afternoon is the end of the Florida Gators third official visit weekend, where they are hosting five-star wide receiver Easton Royal<\/a> and five-star defensive lineman Jalen Brewster<\/a>. The big news isn\u2019t with either of those players, but rather four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson<\/a>. He flipped his commitment from the Gators to the Georgia Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a brutal one for the Gators, but not all hope is lost with his recruitment.<\/p>\n

Jackson committed to the Gators on June 2nd after visiting Gainesville. Things were looking great for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein. Led by five-star Maxwell Hiller, the class had included four players in the top-10 of their respective positions. With Jackson now going to Georgia, that is now down to three.<\/p>\n

Things changed for Jackson after he visited Georgia last weekend, and it ended in a flip. Because of how quick the flip was, you can\u2019t discount the idea of Jackson potentially re-committing to the Gators over the next six months. It will be worth keeping an eye on.<\/p>\n

Sumrall\u2019s class of 2027 now stands at 21 commitments.<\/p>\n
