TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Sunday will feature scorching temperatures and random, pop-up showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. Meteorologist Cameron Aaron has the latest. <\/p>\n
Tonight Through Sunday Night <\/p>\n
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible for Saturday evening, but we are anticipating a drying trend after sunset. For most of us, we remain dry and muggy for the overnight. Low temperatures settle in the mid-70s. <\/p>\n
A \u201ccopy and paste\u201d forecast is on the way for Sunday. The first half of the day is looking dry and hot. Highs climb into the mid-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds. With the muggy weather, we could see heat index values in the low-100s at times, so be sure to stay cool and hydrated. <\/p>\n
During the afternoon and evening, we are expecting another round of random, pop-up showers and storms. Similar to Saturday, it will not rain for everyone, but scattered showers and storms are possible. <\/p>\n
The activity should fizzle for Sunday night, and we are mainly dry and mild for the overnight. Lows fall into the mid-70s under a mostly clear sky. <\/p>\n
Starting The Work Week <\/p>\n
Going into the new work week, we are expecting higher rain chances and lower heat levels. <\/p>\n
Scattered showers and storms are possible on Monday under a partly sunny sky. Highs top out in the low-90s, with lows in the mid-70s. <\/p>\n
Periods of showers and storms will linger into Tuesday. Because of the clouds and showers, highs should stay in the upper-80s. Lows bottom out in the mid-70s. <\/p>\n
Scattered rain chances stick around for the middle of the week. Highs on Wednesday hover in the upper-80s under a partly sunny sky. Lows fall into the mid-70s. <\/p>\n
