The three-star prospect has decided to stay home, committing to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.<\/p>\n<p>Lockett is from Moultrie, Georgia, and picked the Yellow Jackets over the Seminoles and Louisville Cardinals. He officially visited FSU on May 29 before taking his official visit to Georgia Tech on June 5, and committing on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He is ranked as the No. 874 overall player and No. 107 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 105 player from Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>FSU didn&#8217;t start recruiting Lockett until this year, hosting him on a Junior Day visit in January before extending him a scholarship offer in February shortly after the visit. He returned for another visit in April.<\/p>\n<p>The Seminoles are not expected to sign a big high school wide receiver class after doing so last season, and already have one four-star prospect committed in Green.
