JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Four people were shot at a large block party outside of the Prime Time Food Store in Jacksonville’s Sherwood Forest neighborhood Saturday night, according to crime scene investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).<\/p>\n
A JSO spokesperson said their officers responded to the food store at 9339 Norfolk Boulevard around 9:15 p.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers found a person suffering from a gunshot wound and paramedics took them to the hospital. Investigators found three other gunshot victims who drove themselves to the hospital. All four, which includes two women, a man, and a 16-year-old teen, are expected to be OK with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
A large block party was held at the address earlier Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
Investigators said it’s unknown what caused the dispute that led to the gunfire, and detectives are working to gather suspect information, and whether the shooting was gang related.\u00a0<\/p>\n
