HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (June 13, 2026)\u00a0\u2013 Orlando City B (7-3-4, 28 points) scored two second-half goals to overcome a halftime deficit and defeat Huntsville City FC (5-6-3, 19 points) 2-1 on Saturday evening. <\/p>\n
The two sides played\u00a0a closely contested\u00a0first half, with both teams generating chances across an even opening 45 minutes. Huntsville City FC opened the scoring in the first minute of first-half stoppage time, as Julian Gaines touched home a loose ball in the box following a deflected rebound off a Maximus Ekk strike to give the hosts a 1-0 lead heading into the halftime break. <\/p>\n
The Lions responded quickly after the restart, as 16-year-old Orlando City Academy product Matthew Belgodere scored the equalizer in the 50th minute with a right-footed strike from the top of the box off a loose rebound from an Issah Haruna attempt.
