\n\t\t\t\t\t\tA Stuart man is now facing criminal charges, accused of peeking into the bedroom of his neighbor’s children and touching himself.\u201cIt\u2019s an extremely concerning case that took place in Stuart last week,\u201d Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said. The incident occurred in the Port Sewall Place community. Security video from the home shows a man moving around in the driveway.The homeowner was out of town and received an alert from his security camera that there was movement outside the home. \u201cHe saw an individual that he knew, one of his neighbors who he\u2019d seen before, walk up to the front of his house and was peeking in the windows where his children would normally be sleeping,\u201d Budensiek said. The sheriff added that the man was not just peeking but also appeared to be touching himself. Fortunately, the homeowner\u2019s children were not in the room at the time. They were in another room with their mother. Budensiek said the man was in the driveway for about 12 minutes.The homeowner called 911, and deputies went to the home of the suspect, identified as 37-year-old Scott Haeseker. \u201cOur deputies eventually went into the house, fought with him a little bit, were able to take him into custody and then took him to the jail,\u201d Budensiek said.
