PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2013 Sebastian Anderson scored the only goal of the game while Antony Siaha posted a five-save shutout as Hartford Athletic took a 1-0 victory against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium on Saturday night, handing the Rowdies their first loss across all competitions this season.<\/p>\n
Tampa Bay had the first chance of the night as Marco Micaletto curled a shot toward the top-right corner that was brilliantly saved by Siaha, but the visitors took the lead in the 20th minute when Samuel Careaga\u2019s shot from just inside the top of the penalty area was parried, only for Anderson to put home the rebound from close range. <\/p>\n
The Rowdies went close again six minutes before halftime only for Siaha to make a spectacular stop on a header by Pedro Dolabella before Careaga sent the ball clear with an overhead kick off the goal line, while a minute later Siaha came off his line sharply to deny Louis Perez.
