Officials said initial reports indicate the fire may have been caused by a lightning strike on Saturday. Martin County Fire Rescue received assistance from the Division of Forestry, the Martin County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and the City of Stuart Fire Rescue to combat the blaze.  \u201cAll units played a critical role in extinguishing the fire,\u201d said Martin County District Chief Joshua Shell.  Fire officials also said weather conditions this time of year contribute to outdoor fires. Shell noted that while drought conditions are not as severe as usual, there is still a lack of rain.
