ATLANTA \/ JACKSONVILLE\u00a0\u2014 Cox Media Group (CMG) announced Brian McGhee as vice president and market manager for CMG Jacksonville Radio.<\/p>\n
McGhee succeeds Jimmy Farrell, now vice president and market manager for CMG Miami Radio. McGhee joins CMG with more than 15 years of leadership experience spanning radio, digital media and sales strategy, McGhee is known for driving revenue, building teams, developing talent and leading markets through change.<\/p>\n
Most recently, McGhee served as director of sales for Urban One in Washington, D.C., where he led revenue for a five-station cluster. Earlier in his career, he served as market president \/ chief revenue officer for Townsquare Media in Rockford and held general sales manager roles with iHeartMedia in Chicago and St. Louis. Across those roles, he consistently delivered revenue growth, expanded key accounts, launched training and development programs, and strengthened team performance.<\/p>\n
As VP and market manager, McGhee will lead CMG Jacksonville Radio\u2019s team and operations with a focus on audience growth, revenue performance, local brand strength and continued community impact.<\/p>\n
