{"id":309498,"date":"2026-06-16T18:51:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T18:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/309498\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T18:51:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T18:51:09","slug":"man-arrested-after-striking-victim-with-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/309498\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Arrested after Striking Victim with Vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/levi-stevenson-1-.png\" alt=\"Man Arrested after Striking Victim with Vehicle\" class=\"pr-3 pb-3\" aria-label=\"Man Arrested after Striking Victim with Vehicle\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Hillsborough County Sheriff&#8217;s Office deputies have charged Levi Stevenson, 28, with Attempted Murder after he struck his girlfriend with a vehicle.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nOn June 12, 2026, deputies responded to East 138th Avenue in Tampa, where a woman was struck by a car and transported to the hospital with non-threatening injuries.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nDetectives learned that Stevenson and the victim got into an altercation, and when she tried to call for help, he forcefully took her phone.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAs the victim was walking along the side of East 138th Avenue, Stevenson veered off the roadway, struck her with his vehicle, and then fled the area.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A moment of anger should never cost someone their life.
