{"id":310728,"date":"2026-06-17T18:20:21","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T18:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/310728\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T18:20:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T18:20:21","slug":"nearly-1m-square-foot-tampa-industrial-park-gets-new-leasing-agent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/310728\/","title":{"rendered":"Nearly 1M-square-foot Tampa industrial park gets new leasing agent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"h962091-p1\" class=\"permalinkable\">Cushman &amp; Wakefield has been picked to handle the leasing of a major Tampa industrial development.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p2\" class=\"permalinkable\">The assignment is for the Link Logistics-owned Tampa Distribution Center, a six-building property at 1212 N. 50th St. on the city\u2019s east side, between the Selmon Expressway and Interstate 4.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p3\" class=\"permalinkable\">The buildings in the 955,000-square-foot center range in size from 75,000 square feet to 245,000 square feet and were built in the mid-1970s. Cushman &amp; Wakefield says that about 208,750 square feet of that space is either currently available or will soon be. Those spaces range from 3,750 square feet to 80,000 square feet.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p4\" class=\"permalinkable\">Link Logistics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessobserverfl.com\/news\/2019\/jul\/26\/tampa-distribution-center-high-street-realty-blackstone-group-link-industrial-properties-cushman-and-wakefield-rick-brugge\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">bought the Tampa Distribution Center<\/a> in 2019 for $69.25 million.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p5\" class=\"permalinkable\">The New York-based company is a part of the global investment firm Blackstone. On its website, the company bills itself as the \u201clargest owners and operators of last-minute industrial real estate in North America\u201d with 3,000 warehouses and distribution facilities across more than 40 markets.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p6\" class=\"permalinkable\">That includes 72 facilities in Florida, with 24 between Pinellas County and Lakeland.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h962091-p7\" class=\"permalinkable\">Cushman &amp; Wakefield\u2019s Lisa Ross, Trey Carswell, Sam Korolos and Melissa Watterworth will handle the leasing at the center.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Cushman &amp; Wakefield has been picked to handle the leasing of a major Tampa industrial development.
