(WITN) &#8211; Applications are open for a franchise opening its first restaurant in an Eastern Carolina city next month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Raising Cane\u2019s is opening at 1106 Western Boulevard in Jacksonville on July 13 with 160 positions available, starting at $13 an hour. This is the company\u2019s first restaurant in the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The company says it is hiring for several positions, such as cashiers, fry cooks, and customer service associates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Interested candidates can <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.raisingcanes.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/jobs.raisingcanes.com\/\">apply online<\/a> to schedule an interview or attend a walk-in interview at the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The company says employees will receive weekly paychecks, flexible schedules, and an additional $1 per hour for hours worked after 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to open our doors in Jacksonville and become part of such a vibrant community,\u201d said Raising Cane\u2019s Area Leader of Restaurants Bobbi Frye. \u201cThis new restaurant allows us to create great job opportunities for residents while building a crew passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to every customer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The July 13 grand opening will offer a year of free Cane\u2019s for 20 customers, community events, and other activities to celebrate the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
