{"id":311966,"date":"2026-06-18T16:59:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:59:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/311966\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T16:59:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:59:13","slug":"dali-dome-to-debut-immersive-surreal-nature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/311966\/","title":{"rendered":"Dal\u00ed Dome to debut immersive \u2018Surreal Nature\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the wake of the success of its immersive, visual dives into the music of Pink Floyd and Queen, as well as the art and surrealistic visions of its namesake, Salvadore Dali, the Dal\u00ed Museum has a new 360-degree experience for visitors to its backyard Dal\u00ed Dome.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-117649\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Surreal-Nature-in-The-Dali-Dome-Press-Image-3-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\"  \/>Surreal Nature, making its debut July 10, was created in collaboration with the Seoul, Korea-based digital design and art company\u00a0d\u2019strict and its multi-sensory division Arte Museum, which has immersive surround experiences in eight countries.<\/p>\n<p>The museum\u2019s prepared statement describes Surreal Nature as a \u201cmeditative,\u00a0yet fantastical escape,\u201d and proclaims it as \u201cinnovation at the intersection of art,\u00a0technology\u00a0and storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dal\u00ed executive director Hank Hine, in the announcement, said \u201cSalvador Dal\u00ed saw the world in ways no one else could, reimagining nature into something entirely his own\u2014Surreal Nature\u00a0carries that spirit forward, inviting visitors to experience the natural world made new again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Dal\u00ed Dome has always been a space for art without boundaries, and\u00a0Surreal Nature\u00a0extends that vision,\u00a0offering our\u00a0community a rare moment of stillness, beauty and wonder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the museum: \u201cThe\u00a0limited-time\u00a0experience unfolds in two chapters:\u00a0Ocean\u00a0immerses guests in the power,\u00a0mystery\u00a0and beauty of the sea, guiding visitors through a series of oceanic landscapes shaped by movement and light.\u00a0Land\u00a0follows, beginning with a pulse of life and growth before unfolding into blooming gardens, cascading waterfalls and a mystical forest that culminates in a bioluminescent jungle, where glowing creatures blend into their surroundings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The geodesic Dal\u00ed \u00a0Dome, which opened in 2023, is 45 feet high and 60 feet across.<\/p>\n<p>Both daytime and evening shows will be presented, for a limited time.
