Offered daily from 4 to 6 p.m., the lineup here leans into the restaurant\u2019s signature Latin-Asian fusion with small plates that punch above their weight. The Blistered Shishito Peppers arrive smoky and spicy, balanced by a creamy cilantro-pepper sauce and a nutty sesame crumble. Then there are the Vela Wings\u2014crispy, tempura-battered, and coated in a glossy gochujang butter that\u2019s the perfect blend of sweet and savory.<\/p>\n
But cocktails are where things really get playful at Pez Vela. The Espuma Margarita (tequila, lime, Grand Marnier, and sea salt foam) is light with a frothy finish, while the Ethereal Goddess (gin, raspberries, St-Germain, and lemon) offers a softer, botanical edge. For something richer, Da Ginja (gin, cucumber, ginger, lemon and lime juices, plus soda) layers in citrus for cool refreshment.
