Beaver St., where Gateway Jax plans a mixed-use, 14-story tower that would include apartments and the grocery store. PCL Construction LLC is the contractor for the demolition, as listed in the permit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During a <a href=\"https:\/\/jaxtoday.org\/2026\/05\/22\/gateway-jax-pearl-square-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tour of Gateway Jax\u2019s projects<\/a> on May 19, CEO Bryan Moll said the Publix was critical to the success of the developers\u2019 more than $750 million Pearl Square district.
