He later transitioned to civil law and will now focus primarily on elder law at the Legal Aid Society, while also bringing experience in housing, consumer and bankruptcy law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKevin\u2019s commitment to public service and his diverse legal experience make him a tremendous addition to our team,\u201d said Andrew Banyai, executive director of Lee County Legal Aid Society. \u201cAs demand for civil legal services continues to grow in our community, expanding our capacity with dedicated attorneys like Kevin ensures we can protect families, stabilize households and deliver on our mission of equal access to justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since opening its doors in 1967, the organization has focused on protecting vulnerable residents by addressing the systemic barriers that prevent people from accessing the justice system.
