{"id":313366,"date":"2026-06-19T18:33:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T18:33:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/313366\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T18:33:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T18:33:12","slug":"doh-lee-issues-water-quality-advisory-sanibel-captiva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/313366\/","title":{"rendered":"DOH-Lee issues water quality advisory &#8211; SANIBEL-CAPTIVA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 18, the Florida Department of Health in Lee County (DOH-Lee) issued a water quality health advisory for the following location:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 LCSP-7 Sanibel Causeway, at 19931 Sanibel Causeway, Fort Myers<\/p>\n<p>Tests completed on June 17 indicate that the water quality at LCSP-7 Sanibel Causeway does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.<\/p>\n<p>DOH-Lee advises against any water-related activities at the location due to an increased risk of illness in swimmers.
