The “Firework” singer called out ex-fianc\u00e9 Orlando Bloom as well as John Mayer, Diplo, and Russell Brand during a performance of her 2019 song “Never Really Over.”<\/p>\n

Perry also gave boyfriend Justin Trudeau a sweet shout-out during the song.<\/p>\n

Katy Perry had a not-so-subtle message for her exes as she shared a sweet nod to boyfriend Justin Trudeau<\/a> on June 18. While headlining Spain\u2019s O Son do Cami\u00f1o festival in Santiago de Compostela, the \u201cFirework\u201d singer made it clear she\u2019s left all of her former flames completely in the past with a telling dig during her show.<\/p>\n

Per a concert video shared on X<\/a>, Perry performed her 2019 song \u201cNever Really Over\u201d\u2014a track about an on-and-off relationship that refuses to fizzle\u2014with a giant phone prop on stage. The song is believed to be about ex-fianc\u00e9 Orlando Bloom<\/a>, as the former couple famously rekindled their relationship in 2018 after their 2017 breakup and went on to get engaged in 2019. However, Perry and Bloom<\/a>\u2014who share a daughter Daisy<\/a>\u2014ended their engagement and relationship in June 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever Really Over\u201d hits a little differently now for the star, who\u2019s been dating Trudeau since last July. And Perry didn\u2019t hesitate to send a little shade to her exes as she gave the former Canadian Prime Minister a sweet shout-out during her performance.<\/p>\n

In the clip, the \u201cLast Friday Night\u201d singer declined calls from ex Diplo as well as an assortment of initials that appear to represent her exes. She ignored calls from \u201cOB.\u201d (a seeming nod to Bloom) as well as \u201cRB\u201d (ex-husband Russell Brand), and \u201cJM\u201d (ex-boyfriend John Mayer). However, Perry picked up one call from \u201cJPJT,\u201d which stands for Justin Pierre James Trudeau.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCalifornia Gurls\u201d singer recently marked a major relationship milestone with Trudeau by making her red carpet debut with him<\/a> as her plus-one at the premiere of the Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris film on June 8 at the Tribeca Festival in New York City.<\/p>\n

Perry, who referred to the former politician as the \u201clove of my life\u201d at the event, was also spotted holding hands in the stands<\/a> following her World Cup performance on June 12 and canoodling with Trudeau during a PDA-packed picnic date<\/a> on June 13.<\/p>\n
