LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 On the Treasure Coast, a highly anticipated entertainment project is getting an update.<\/p>\n<p>The Port St. Lucie Community Redevelopment Agency will meet for a special meeting Monday morning. They will be discussing progress on a proposed development in the eastern part of the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofpsl.com\/Government\/Your-City-Government\/Departments\/Community-Redevelopment\/Walton-One\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.cityofpsl.com\/Government\/Your-City-Government\/Departments\/Community-Redevelopment\/Walton-One\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Walton and One<\/a>\u2019 is a 46-acre mixed-use redevelopment project on U.S One, near the MidFlorida Credit Union Event Center. The project has been in the works since 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to build a walkable place with retail, restaurants, and residential spaces.<\/p>\n<p>After two years of analysis and review, the city is ready to give everyone an update. If city leaders approve the plans, it&#8217;ll kickstart the development of what could be a key cultural and entertainment hub in Port Saint Lucie.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in being a part of it, the meeting will take place from 9:45 to 11:15 Monday morning at the MidFlorida Event Center Ruby Ballroom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PORT ST.
