Even after a weeklong weather delay, the much-anticipated Fourth of July Fundraiser Community BBQ, the Village’s official kickoff to the summer celebration season, did not disappoint.<\/p>\n
Held for the first time at the Key Biscayne Civic Center, the community block party featured a kids’ entertainment zone, ice cream, coffee bar, DJ Juan Mejia, the samba sounds of MiamiBloco, guitarist Aaron Lebos and friends and barbecue from award-winning Kendall restaurant Apocalypse.<\/p>\n
