{"id":315224,"date":"2026-06-22T02:36:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T02:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/315224\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T02:36:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T02:36:11","slug":"orlando-science-center-hosts-memories-of-water-art-exhibit-with-ar-experiences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/315224\/","title":{"rendered":"Orlando Science Center hosts \u2018Memories of Water\u2019 art exhibit with AR experiences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Orlando Science Center is currently hosting \u201cMemories of Water,\u201d an art exhibit that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) to explore water\u2019s role in memory, landscape, community, and perception.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The exhibit, on display until Aug. 23, features artwork by artists with disabilities from across Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cMemories of Water\u201d is presented by Arts4All Florida, a not-for-profit organization supporting arts education and cultural experiences for and by people with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Guests use their smartphones to scan QR codes, activating an AR component within each piece that brings the artwork to life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The artists collaborated with tech curator and artist Austin Lubetkin to create unique AR experiences for their artwork. These experiences include movement, animation, sound, and song.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An artist statement accompanies each piece, describing personal inspiration.
