{"id":315757,"date":"2026-06-22T16:18:32","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T16:18:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/315757\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T16:18:32","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T16:18:32","slug":"committee-accepting-entries-for-july-quilt-show-in-jacksonville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/315757\/","title":{"rendered":"Committee accepting entries for July quilt show in Jacksonville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The River Country Quilt Show Committee is accepting entries for display during its upcoming show.<\/p>\n<p>The annual River Country Quilt Show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 24 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25 at Jacksonville High School.<\/p>\n<p>Quilts and quilted items \u2014 such as wall hangings and wearable quilted art \u2014 can be entered.<\/p>\n<p>Entry forms must be submitted, along with a photo of the quilt to be displayed, by July 10.<\/p>\n<p>Entered quilts and quilted items must be dropped off at\u00a0JHS\u2019s north entrance between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 23. They must be picked up between 5 and 6 p.m. July 25, again at JHS\u2019s north entrance. Claim checks are required to pick up a quilt.<\/p>\n<p>Viewers\u2019 choice awards will be presented.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers also are looking for old and antique quilts \u2014 those at least 50 years old \u2014 for the show\u2019s bed-turning program. Entry forms also are required to submit a quilt for the bed turning.<\/p>\n<p>Copies of the entry form are available on the River Country Quilt Show\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/River-Country-Quilt-Show-Jacksonville-Illinois-100068508902071\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a>.
