We start with the obligatory reminder that a local couple actually lived out their marriage proposal onstage during Thievery Corporation’s Orlando show back in 2024. So let that be a very potent pointer to expect the unexpected at this Brit electro-world music collective’s dance parties.

The evergreen ensemble has long been blending four-to-the-floor beats with grooves from around the world, delivering music encouraging sonic unity-through-dancefloor sweat of a type that is increasingly lost in a tech dystopia dedicated to keeping you isolated and staring at a phone. Thievery Corporation mark 30 years of that noble mission for this tour, a milestone custom-made for communal celebration.

6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, The Plaza Live, 425 N. Bumby Ave., plazaliveorlando.org, $53-$87.
