This was his first time visiting Tallahassee, and he enjoyed spending time with FSU&#8217;s coaching staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">\u201cI got a chance to spend a lot of time with Coach Tucker and Coach Stone,\u201d Tillman told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/news\/2028-qb-brayden-tillman-could-see-himself-at-florida-state\/\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Allen Trieu of Rivals<\/a>. \u201cThey were great, coaching me up and answering any questions my parents or I had. My parents and I also met with Coach Norvell. He is awesome to be around. He is honest and up front and I love that about him. Honesty is huge in this process for me in making a decision on where I go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Tillman is ranked as the No. 650 overall player and No. 67 quarterback in the Rivals industry ranking. The Traverse City native is also the No. 14 player from Missouri.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">With several schools closer to him recruiting the 6-foot-4, 180-pounder, he felt he needed to make the trip to see FSU for himself, and he is now planning to return to watch a game in Doak Campbell Stadium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">\u201cYeah, it is far away. That\u2019s why we wanted to make sure to make the trip down and see what it was all about,\u201d Tillman said. \u201cWe plan to make it down for a game in the Fall. I want to feel the energy in that stadium in person.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">He played in 10 games as a sophomore at Traverse City West High School, with them going 5-5. He completed 54.4% of his passes for 880 yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
