A caller reported that two masked suspects had stolen merchandise and fled on foot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The suspects were described as two juvenile males wearing masks and carrying backpacks. Their clothing descriptions were broadcast over police radio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officers quickly established a perimeter and located two males matching the descriptions at a nearby business. The juveniles were identified as Markus Lee Gibson (DOB 12\/29\/2009) and Maleek Charles Graves (DOB 10\/24\/2008). Both were detained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A witness later participated in a show-up and positively identified the two juveniles as the individuals seen leaving the business after the theft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A detective from the Property Crimes Unit responded to continue the investigation. An employee reported the same two suspects had stolen from the business on June 19 and returned on June 21 to steal again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to employees and surveillance video, two masked suspects entered the business. When an employee confronted one of the suspects, the suspect charged at the employee, forcefully striking him and knocking him to the floor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the second suspect was removing merchandise from a shelf. A second employee observed the theft and ran from behind the counter in an attempt to stop the suspect, who fled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Surveillance video showed the first suspect re-entering the business, grabbing a bottle of wine from a shelf, and fleeing with it.
