Monroe County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/p>\n<p>The sicko took her cellphone, bound her and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/21\/us-news\/florida-man-tries-steal-medical-helicopter\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">then forced her into<\/a> the dryer when she tried to leave, according to the Monroe County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not immediately clear how old the girl was, but Veit was charged with sexual battery of a victim between the ages of 16 and 17, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/local\/community\/florida-keys\/article316233398.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the Miami Herald reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The relation between Veit and the girl also remains unclear.
