The celebration on the water came on the eve of Scotland\u2019s World Cup showdown against Brazil at Miami Stadium.<\/p>\n
Confidence among supporters on the riverboat was high.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will win, we will win!\u201d said a fan.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are going to beat Brazil 5-0. Brazil doesn\u2019t know what\u2019s coming to them,\u201d said a fan.<\/p>\n
Others said it was Scotland\u2019s revenge tour.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrazil knocked us out 28 years ago from the World Cup. It\u2019s revenge, we\u2019re coming back, and we\u2019re going to win,\u201d said a fan.<\/p>\n
From the docks of Bahia Mar to the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, the celebration was impossible to miss as thousands of miles from Scotland, fans came together, united by their love of country and their hope of seeing their home country make World Cup history.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to bring joy everywhere we go. It\u2019s the number one plan,\u201d said a fan.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s so special coming to America\u2014the World Cup. First game [against Brazil] in 28 years,\u201d said another fan.<\/p>\n
As of late Tuesday afternoon, the fans were returning from their second voyage across Fort Lauderdale. Fans say that while Brazilians at Miami Stadium may outnumber them, they are confident they can make more noise.<\/p>\n
