Avelo Airlines<\/a> will bring nonstop flights from the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport<\/a> to three Florida destinations, the airline announced on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The new routes will go to Orlando<\/a>, Fort Myers<\/a> and Tampa<\/a> with operations beginning in November, Avelo Airlines CMO Scott DeAngelo said. Each of the routes will be offering $49 one-way fares, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese new routes not only open the door to more sunny getaways, but also make travel easier and more accessible for families, vacationers and business travelers alike; further enhancing connectivity for the entire region,\u201d DeAngelo added.<\/p>\n

Avelo announced nonstop routes to Indianapolis and Cleveland<\/a> from Concord last week.<\/p>\n

Fort Myers, Fla. via Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)<\/p>\n

Since launching in April 2021, Avelo has carried more than 9.6 million passengers on more than 76,000 flights and now serves 34 destinations across 14 states and Puerto Rico, according to the airline.<\/p>\n

Avelo began its operations in Concord in 2024<\/a>. The company announced in January its long-term commitment to the Charlotte region. The strategic shift also included the closure of its bases at Wilmington and Raleigh-Durham\u2019s airports.<\/p>\n

Avelo is the third airline to operate out of Concord-Padgett, joining Allegiant Air and Sun Country Airlines at the single-runway facility.
