The festivities begin in\u00a0North Beach at 5 p.m., where Altos Del Mar Park will come alive with family activities, music, food trucks, and a combined drone and fireworks show over the ocean. Guests can also roll into the patriotic spirit at the\u00a0free outdoor roller disco\u00a0at the Miami Beach Bandshell.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In\u00a0South Beach, the celebration continues at\u00a08:30 p.m., when the Ocean Drive Association hosts a patriotic concert by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival in Lummus Park at Ocean Drive and 12 Street, followed by a dazzling\u00a09 p.m. fireworks display\u00a0lighting up the shoreline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTwo hundred and fifty years after our nation\u2019s founding, the ideals of liberty and opportunity remain as relevant as ever,\u201d said\u00a0Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. \u201cAs we gather across Miami Beach to mark this momentous anniversary, we celebrate the strength of our democracy and the spirit of a community that continues to move forward together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">North Beach<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Altos Del Mar Park (76 Street and Collins Avenue) from 5 \u2013 8 p.m., residents and visitors can enjoy a family zone featuring bungee jump stations, a tropical obstacle course, a sports zone, giant yard games and an imagination playground.\u00a0Attendees can also purchase a bite to eat at one of the many food trucks on site and enjoy sets from the Red Bull DJ truck.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Musical performances take the stage with entertainment by DJ Luc, MC Maria Salas and The Miami Beats Band. \u201cThe Star-Spangled Banner\u201d will be sung by city employee Taylor Jauregui at 6:30 p.m., followed by welcome remarks from the Miami Beach Mayor and City Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The nearby Miami Beach Bandshell at 7275 Collins Ave. will be transformed into a\u00a0free outdoor roller disco\u00a0with skate hosts All Skates Go to Heaven and music by\u00a0DJs Kumi &amp; Zac from 5 \u2013 9 p.m. Bring your own skates or blades. Miami Beach residents can enjoy free skate rentals with a photo I.D.\u00a0 Music lovers can take in the tunes from the Club Box Deck even if they prefer to go without skates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event wraps up with a choregraphed drone show and fireworks display on the beachfront at 76 Street at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">South Beach<br \/>In partnership with the City of Miami Beach and the Greater Miami Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau, the Ocean Drive Association will host its dazzling Independence Day Fireworks &amp; Patriotic Concert on Ocean Drive and 12 Street. The evening kicks off with an\u00a0orchestra performance by the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The South Beach fireworks display will also begin at 9 p.m.\u00a0Attendees are encouraged to make reservations at one of the many alfresco restaurants or bring their beach chairs, blankets and picnic fare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transportation<br \/>Attendees can ride the free citywide trolley service from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the holiday. Service frequency for the trolleys is approximately every 20 minutes.
